It does not contaminate paint systems. It is compatible with lacquer and enamel paints. It is noncombustible and nonmigratory and can be used on any metal. Procedure: With aerosol cans: Spray freely on the area to be protected and make sure the area is completely covered.
With bulk applications: Paint the part completely or dip that part into a container of 1620 compound. After a welding operation, wipe off the weld spatter and excess compound with a cloth, wire brush or mineral spirits. (Not compatible with water.) Features: 1620 may be painted immediately after wiping off the weld spatter. It saves time, labor, material, gas, replacement parts and scrap. It is noncombustible, nonmigratory and paint compatible, and does not contain any hydrocarbons or fluorocarbons.
