Frequently Asked Questions

Welding Supplies from IOC has always collected Sales Tax in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Kentucky because our parent company, Indiana Oxygen Co, has trucks that regularly deliver to MI, OH, IL, and KY. Those states' Revenue Services have concluded that this constitutes a physical presence and therefore we collect Sales Tax.

Since the SCOTUS ruling in 2018 (South Dakota vs Quill Corp.), we're now required to collect sales tax in most states even though we don't have a physical location. This list is continually increasing as states determine what constitutes economic nexus in their state. We don’t like it, but rules are rules.

We're pleased to offer FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the Continental United States on all orders over $50. For all other orders, please see our rates below:

We do offer expedited shipping, but due to the variables of destination, weight and package size, we can only offer expedited pricing over the phone. Please call for our most update to date pricing for the added services. Lift gate service is an extra fee which we can apply to your order.

At checkout, you'll see an optional charge for Route Package Protection. If you chose to keep the Route Package Protection, you're covered for most lost, stolen, and damaged items. Obviously, there are some exclusions. Click here to read Route's Package Protection policy and coverage limitations.

Other than occasionally shipping to the US Insular Territories, we currently do not ship outside of the United States. It’s something that we are reviewing, but not a service we currently offer. We will only ship to a confirmed PayPal address in Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, et al, and there will be an additional shipping charge. After we receive your order we will send you an invoice for the additional shipping charges.

We know that you want your order fast! We try our hardest, sometimes to the anger of our warehouse, to get your order out the door the same or next business day after payment is received. In the event of a back order, we will notify you as soon as it is discovered on our end.

Due to an increase in fraudulent orders over the past few years, we may at our discretion, request a photocopy of your drivers license and the credit card you used to make the purchase. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us and we'll gladly discuss our policy with you.

Transit time for your order has a number of variables. Most items ship from our Indianapolis warehouse by either United Parcel Service or United States Postal Service. For larger items, we pull from a list of LTL companies including UPS Freight, FedEx Freight, Estes Express to name a few. Depending on your location, we will occasionally have your order shipped directly from the manufacturer for quicker delivery.

Damaged shipments must be refused at the time of delivery. USPS or UPS small pack damage claims involving items that have been used, or that were received more than 7 days prior, will be refused. Freight shipments must be inspected (packaging removed and contents checked) prior to signing the delivery receipt. Once the delivery has been accepted, the only recourse we have is to file a claim with the freight carrier (typically a 2-4 week process) and the outcome is subject to the settlement decision of the freight company.

We allow 14 days for the customer to contact us about a defective machine. Within that 14 day period, you can either take the defective machine to a certified repair facility and have the machine repaired OR return the machine to us for an exchange. We never ship a replacement machine until we receive, inspect, and verify the original machine is defective. Outside of the 14 day window, the customer must have the machine repaired per the manufacturers warranty guidelines. The customer is responsible for any return shipping to Welding Supplies from IOC or getting the machine to a repair facility.

Yes, the customer is always responsible for paying the shipping charges to get items back to us for a refund.

Our warehouse fulfills orders Monday through Friday and we pride ourselves on quickly getting your order boxed and ready to ship. That being said, if you’d like to add something to your order, contact us as quickly as possible, and have your order number ready, and we’ll do our best to ship everything together.

If you need to cancel your order, give us a call at 1-866-854-7380 and have your order number ready. Orders over $1000, will be assessed a 3% cancellation fee. Orders that have already been shipped can be returned for a refund, minus our original outbound shipping cost and any associated fees mentioned above.

As soon as your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email sent to the email address you provided when you placed the order. Please check your Spam folder, as sometimes automated emails end up there.

Shipping and Ordering

Click the account icon at the top of any page and enter your Email Address and Password in the Registered Customers field. You’ll be taken to your account dashboard and your most recent order will be displayed in the middle of the page. Click the order number link to get the most detailed information on your order.

Contact us

If you’d prefer to have us look up your order for you, send us an email at sales@weldingsuppliesfromioc.com with your order number and we’ll email you back with the most up-to-date order information. We ship most orders from our Indianapolis warehouse using either United Parcel Service or United States Postal Services. We try and factor both price and speed of delivery when determining how your order will ship. For truck shipments, we have contracts with multiple LTL companies to get your order to you and quickly and safely as possible.

We currently accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. We also accept payments via PayPal, Cashier’s Checks or Money Orders.

In addition to traditional PayPal payments, we do accept eChecks. Just like a regular check, it usually takes between 3 and 5 business days for an eCheck to clear. Once your eCheck clears, your order will ship.

Once you start the checkout process, all your personal and financial information is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. If the address bar shows https, the payment information your entering is being encrypted. However, nobody can guarantee that all electronic commerce is totally secure. We recommend that you take the steps to protect yourself online, including ensuring that your online account information remains secure.

Returns

While we anticipate you loving your purchase, we realize that sometimes it just wasn’t what you were looking for. Shopping

We try our best to make sure that items on our website are available to ship. Unfortunately, we’re human and occasionally we list an item as in stock that we don’t have available. If this happens, we’ll backorder the item for you. We’ll send you an email letting you know of our mistake and you’ll have the opportunity to keep the item on backorder, switch to a different item that we have, or cancel your order all together.

If the event that we don’t hear back from you, we’ll assume that you want to keep the item on backorder and once we receive the item back in stock, we’ll ship it to you.

We’ve all experienced buyer’s remorse. Should you need to cancel an order, please give us a call at 1-866-854-7380 or send us an email at sales@weldingsuppliesfromioc.com with your order number ASAP. Orders over $1000, will be assessed a 3% cancellation fee. What information do we collect

When you visit our web site, we collect Personal Information transmitted by your computer, mobile phone or other access device. This information includes data on the pages you visit, your computer IP address, mobile device identifiers, the type of operating system you’re using, standard internet logging data and other information. Internet log data includes the type of browser you’re using and visits to and from our Site.

In addition, when you open a customer account, we may collect the following: Contact information, such as your name, address, phone, email, company name and other similar information. When you input your financial information, such as credit card numbers, that information is passed directly to the financial institution. We collect the information but do not save it on any of our servers.

We also collect information from or about you in other ways, such as through contact with our customer support team, results when you respond to a survey and from interactions.

We do not consider Personal Information to include information that is anonymous or that we have made anonymous so that it cannot be used to identify an individual customer and does not contain other information that would allow us or others to identify you (“Anonymous Information”).

How do we use your information?

Our primary purpose in collecting Personal Information is to provide you with a secure, smooth, efficient, and customized shopping or customer support experience. We may use your Personal Information to:

  • resolve disputes, collect payments, and troubleshoot problems;

How do we share your information?

We may share Anonymous Information with our customers or other third parties to provide information for analytics, website usage or for other retail purposes.

How do we use cookies, web beacons, and tracking technologies?

When you access our Site, we (including companies we work with) may place small data files on your computer or other device. These data files may be cookies, pixel tags, or other local storage provided by your browser or associated applications ("Cookies"). You are free to decline our Cookies if your browser or browser add-on permits, Doing so may interfere with your use of our Site including not being able to place an order. When checking out, you may do so as a Guest rather than creating a new account. In this case, we will not create an account for you and your personal information will only be stored in association with the order. You will also not be able to log in to see previous orders, managed stored shipping addresses and so forth.

When checking out, you may also decline to subscribe to our newsletter by unchecking the appropriate box. You may also unsubscribe to our email lists by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of your email. How can you access your information? To the extent that you do provide us with Personal Information, Welding Supplies from IOC wishes to maintain accurate and complete Personal Information. Our Site may use a third party to present advertisements or special offers. The use of these technologies by these third party ad servers is subject to their own privacy policies and is not covered by our Privacy Policy. Terms and conditions

Proof of ID. Due to an increase in fraudulent orders over the past few years, we may at our discretion, request a photocopy of your drivers license and the credit card you used to make the purchase. Exchanges. If you’d like to exchange your purchase, simply return the new, unused item in its original packaging. Once we receive your exchange, we’ll send you a PayPal request to cover the shipping cost of the new item. Once we receive payment, we’ll ship out the new item and email you a tracking number.

The customer is always responsible for paying the shipping charges to get items back to us for a refund or exchange.

Cancellations. If you need to cancel your order, give us a call at 1-866-854-7380 and have your order number ready. As long as your order has not shipped yet, we’ll be able cancel the order and refund your money. Orders that have already been shipped can be returned for a refund, minus our original outbound shipping cost.

General:

Welding Supplies from IOC reserves the right to change the content of the website whenever it feels necessary. Your use of WeldingSupplesfromIOC.com, following any changes, constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the terms as changed.

Payment, Credits:

Only valid credit cards may be used for making purchases and all refunds will be credited to the same card or, in our discretion, another method. By submitting your order, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the card and authorize us to charge your order (including any tax, shipping, handling and any amounts described on the Site) to that card. If the card cannot be verified, in invalid, or is not otherwise accepted, your order may be suspended or canceled automatically. Regarding “Your Account,” you agree to keep all information current and that we may submit charges for processing even if the card has expired or changed by the time we submit said charges. Inaccuracy Disclaimer:

Coupons

Coupon codes cannot be combined. In some cases, it is possible that more than one offer could apply to the item or items in your cart. In this situation, you will need to choose the code which you prefer to use for that order. If applicable, you may use the other coupon code on a subsequent order. Welding Supplies from IOC (WSIOC) are unable to apply coupon codes to past orders.

Welding Supplies from IOC (WSIOC) Reward Points

The Rewards Points program is brought to you by WSIOC Stores. We are excited that you have chosen to do business with WSIOC and hope you find value in the Rewards Point Program (“the Program”). Your participation in the Program is subject to the following policy guidelines, as well as all other applicable terms, conditions, limitations and requirements (“Terms and Conditions”). By enrolling and continuing to use the Program, you accept these terms, conditions, limitations and requirements. At any time and without notice WSIOC may make changes to these Terms and Conditions or terminate the program. If you have questions about the status of the Program or your eligibility to participate in the Program, you may contact customer support.

Eligibility

Age

Program membership is open to individual U.S. residents (50 states, DC and Puerto Rico) at least 18 years of age.

Resellers

Resellers may not earn or redeem Rewards Points and are excluded from the Program. If WSIOC mistakenly issue points for resale purchases, WSIOC reserve the right to deduct those improperly awarded points and/or to invalidate improperly issued reward certificates as well as to terminate such accounts. Determination of reseller status is made at our sole discretion. If WSIOC determine you to be a reseller, your account may be terminated in accordance with Section “Membership Cancellation” below.

Active Account

To remain eligible for the Program, you must maintain an active account. Account activity means a qualifying purchase made while logged in to the web site. To receive Rewards Points and information and updates about program changes, you must provide and maintain a valid e-mail address and promptly update your account with any changes and you acknowledge that WSIOC will communicate with you about program changes, rewards and promotional materials. At any point in time, if you have not purchased from the web site in 18 months or more, WSIOC reserve the right to terminate your account and you will forfeit the right to any points previously earned. Points forfeited for lack of activity will not be reinstated when account activity resumes. Points may not be transferred from one account to another.

Your status as a Rewards Points member begins as soon as you create an account and make a purchase, there is no waiting period. Reward Points are tallied automatically and you can view your available Rewards Points by accessing the My Account link and logging in (https://www.weldingsuppliesfromioc.com/account/login/).

Receiving Points

You may receive points only on products you purchase on the website (www.weldingsuppliesfromioc.com). At times, WSIOC may identify certain products and offers that are not eligible for the Program.

Non-Qualifying Purchases

Purchases made prior to account activation, instant rebates, pre-orders at the time of initial order (the points will be awarded at the time of final payment or at the time your product ships), purchases made for resale, purchases using WSIOC gift cards, store credit issued by WSIOC, sales tax, service charges,  other excluded charges, and certain items that are excluded in particular promotions.

Coupon Usage: When using a coupon, points are awarded only on the net amount of the purchase (i.e., the amount after the coupon is applied).

Points are awarded upon purchase of WSIOC gift cards, but not on redemption. All gift cards and prepaid cards are excluded from all bonus point promotions unless otherwise noted.

In order to receive points for a purchase, you must be logged in to your account on the website at the time of checkout. You will not earn Rewards Points for purchases made using Guest Checkout or any anonymous checkout methods. No Rewards Points will be granted after the time of checkout or for any past purchases.

From time to time, you may also receive bonus Rewards Points for taking specific actions for example, to purchasing a specific combination of products or referring others to the Web Site via social media. . When available, these bonus Reward Point opportunities will be noted on the website.

Redeeming Reward Points

You will receive $2 for every 100 Rewards Point used. This rate is subject to change at any time without notice.

To redeem your Reward Points, you will be given the opportunity to apply them during the checkout process. The reward value will then be deducted from your total purchase amount and be noted on your transaction summary.

Privacy Policy

The information you provide as a member of the My Welding Supplies from IOC Rewards Points Program will be handled according to the WSIOC Privacy Policy. If you are interested in learning more about WSIOC privacy practices, see our online privacy policy. Occasionally, WSIOC may test new products, services or promotions. Some of these tests may impact My Welding Supplies from IOC Rewards Points members and may vary from the terms of the Program.

Limitations

You may not transfer or assign your Program membership or earned Reward Points. Only one customer account will receive Reward Points for each transaction. Membership cards, Reward Points, and reward certificates have no cash value and may not be transferred. Additional restrictions may apply to WSIOC employees.

Membership Cancellation

You may cancel your membership in the Program at any time by e-mail or phone (1-866-854-7380). If your membership is canceled (either by you or by WSIOC), you will forfeit any remaining Reward Points.

WSIOC may decline to issue or revoke any Rewards Points if WSIOC terminate your account because of conduct that WSIOC determine, in our discretion, violates these Terms and Conditions or any applicable law, involves fraud or misuse of the Program, or is harmful to our interests or another customer. WSIOC also reserve the right to deny future membership if WSIOC deem your conduct to violate these Terms.

Our failure to insist upon or enforce strict compliance with these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of any of our rights.

Other Terms

WSIOC may change these Policies or our Privacy Policy, or any aspect of the Program membership at any time with or without notice. If any change to these terms is found invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or conditions. YOUR CONTINUED MEMBERSHIP AFTER WSIOC CHANGE THESE TERMS CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE CHANGES. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY CHANGES, YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP.

Limitation of Liability

IN ADDITION TO OTHER LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS IN WWW.WELDINGSUPPLIESFROMIOC.COM CONDITIONS OF USE (this page), IN NO EVENT WILL WSIOC OR OUR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PROGRAM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE QUALIFYING PURCHASE THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF THE DISPUTE. THESE EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY WILL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AND WILL SURVIVE CANCELLATION OR TERMINATION OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP. THE LIMITATIONS SET FORTH IN THIS SECTION WILL NOT LIMIT OR EXCLUDE LIABILITY FOR WELDING SUPPLIES FROM IOC'S GROSS NEGLIGENCE, INTENTIONAL, WILLFUL, RECKLESS, OR MALICIOUS MISCONDUCT, OR FRAUD.

Choice of Law

The Program and any and all such claims brought against Welding Supplies by IOC regarding any aspect of the Program shall be construed as and interpreted in accordance with its fair meaning and the laws of the State of Indiana. Any action regarding claims or disputes against WSIOC or otherwise brought against Welding Supplies by IOC by or on behalf of any Welding Supplies by IOC employee, agents, assigns, heirs, administrators, or executors shall be maintained in court in Marion County, Indiana. We offer free shipping within the continental United States on all orders over $50. Your order will ship via UPS or USPS at our discretion and we will email you either a tracking number (UPS) or a shipping number (USPS).

Transit time for your order has a number of variables. Most items ship from our Indianapolis warehouse by either United Parcel Service or United States Postal Service. For larger items, we pull from a list of LTL companies including UPS Freight, FedEx Freight, Estes Express to name a few. Depending on your location, we will occasionally have your order shipped directly from the manufacturer for quicker delivery.

We do not share or sell customer information with third parties. Period.

Once you start the checkout process, all the data you enter on our site is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. Payments are processed using PayPal Payments Pro which is PCI compliant so your financial information is protected and since we use PayPal, both the buyer and the seller are protected from fraud.
