The Miller Diversion 180 TIG Welder Package is perfect for the personal user. This AC/DC TIG machine sports both 115V and 230 V input power.

Easy-to-Understand Operator Interface
It's as easy as "1, 2, 3" to set your machine and start welding! 1. Power-up. 2. Select material type. 3. Set material thickness range. Miller has also added a digital display so you know exactly what your settings are.

Portable
Whether it's in the shop, garage or at the race track, at 50 lbs it can be taken anywhere. You can't do that with those heavy transformer machines!

Reduce Noise, Maintenance and Operating Costs.
Our Fan-On-Demand cooling system only operates when needed. This cuts down on fan noise and reduces power consumption and contaminants drawn into the machine.

Use It On 115 AND 230 Volt Input Power
Miller's Multi Voltage Plug (MVP) allows you to connect to common 115 or 230 V power receptacles without the use of any tools. Simply chose the plug that fits the receptacle and connect it to the power cord.

Utilizes Latest Inverter Technology
By utilizing an inverter-based AC/DC power source, a more efficient (less energy is used) and consistent welding arc are provided compared to older transformer based TIG machines.

Dependable Arc Starts
Provides HF, non-contact arc starting to eliminate tungsten and material contamination time after time.

Eliminate Waste of Expensive Shielding Gas
Our Auto-Postflow feature optimizes postflow time based on welding amperage. This allows for proper shielding of both the weld end zone and electrode every time without waste of gas or need for adjustment.

Comes complete with:
•Diversion 180 power source
• 8 ft (2.4 m) primary cord with (2) MVP plugs (219261 & 219258)
• RFCS-RJ45 remote foot control (300432)
• 12 ft (3.7 m) work lead with clamp
• Smith Argon regulator/flow guage with hose
12.5 ft (3.8 m) Weldcraft WP17 TIG torch with:
• Backcap

WOW! great!! 5 An amazing machine. The very first bead I practiced on Al, .125 thick with 4043 filler 1/16, was nearly perfect!! WHOA!! super easy start, and never stuck the tungsten. HAPPY!!
Just amazing! 5 I am really new to welding; about 6 months. My first few minutes on TIG were with my Tweco 141i scratch start, multi-process machine, on mild steel. Fairly terrible and frustrating (typical, I guess) even under the expert instruction of my nephew, who is an expert career welder. I wanted to do aluminum -- meaning AC (not some DC nonsense) -- and have HF start. My very first bead on .125 AL was near perfect!! Did not stick the tungsten, or have any issues. Set the thickness, push the metal select button and GO. I am thrilled with this machine. Worth every penny! As usual, Welding Supplies from IOC was great in every way. GET ONE on these.
Good Machine 5 This is a geat machine for the garage. Very good for that roll cage builder or part time fabricator. If you weld a lot, or do a lot of aluminum, a water cooled setup would be more useful. I find myself waiting a lot because I am welding more than i thought i would be in 1 sitting, and I need to wait for the torch to cool down. Aweosme machine if you need HF tig with aluminum capabilities.
Great customer service 5 I placed the order on a Monday, and we had received the Welder by Friday all the way in Juneau, Alaska. I placed my order via phone to confirm what the shipping charges would be, and the person who took my order made sure to explain what my shipping options were and help me find the fastest, most cost effective way. I'm very pleased by the service and the quality of the TIG welder. Thanks!
Great welding supplier 5 I was wondering why Miller changed the tig torch on the diversion 180 ? On the internet it shows that the tig torch handle has separate controls on the tig handle. ?
New tig 5 I ordered the Miller 180 tig. Had very fast shipping and love the machine so far.
Great Customer Service 5 I received Great Customer Service when I placed my order with Nathan. My welder shipped quickly and I'm up and rolling!!! Thanks Guys Bill in TX

Great little welder 5 Great little welder
Issues 3 Out of the box the high frequency start did not work, took it to a local miller dealer and was fixed in 2 days, after that everything seems to be fine, good little hobby welding machine.
