With one of the coldest winters in recent history, outdoor welding over the last few months has been as fun as a sharp stick in the eye. Now that winter’s bitter grip is loosening, it’s time to throw open the workshop doors and start thinking about all those warm weather projects.

Grills
Grills are harder than they look. And they don’t look easy. What type of design do you need to properly heat the whole steak evenly? What type of fuel will work best? But when done properly, one of these massive grills can make you the king of the BBQ. We’re talking about the moment you roll up to the tailgate with one of these meat machines and a tear comes to the eyes of every man, woman and child.
 
Home Improvement
Using your skills to give your home a unique, personal look can be one of the most rewarding projects you can do. Is your porch railing falling apart? Then rip it out and make your own. With a little planning, you can create an impressive outdoor home fixture that matches your experience level.

Similar to BBQs, fabricating a smoker is more than just the quality of your welds.
