Crown Alloy 2# PURPLE HEAT EATER Heat Resistant COMPOUND 2 lb JAR (XYHEAT/2)
Crown-Purple Heat Eater is a heat resistant compound that will form a protective shield to prevent over-heating, distortion, and buckling caused by soldering, brazing or welding. It can be used as a heat sink to absorb heat and avoid surface discoloration on heat sensitive parts. It can be used as a heat dam to prevent heat from traveling to areas that can be damaged by heat such as O-rings, enamel sections, rubber, plastic and paint. Crown-Purple Heater Eater also shapes like putty and holds irregular parts firmly in place without melting, swelling or disturbing alignment.
