Hypertherm Smart SYNC Cartridge Adapter (428951)
The cartridge adapter allows older Duramax torches to accept the Smart Sync Cartridges. Cartridges will not transit data back to the power source unless equipped with a Sync power source. This adapter can be used for hand and mechanized cartridges, and adds 17.5 mm (.69 inches) to the length of the consumables from the torch head. The lifespan of this adapter is similar to that of a retaining cap. Facilities using new Sync systems along with older Duramax torches can streamline their consumable inventory by using this adapter and all new Sync cartridges.
Sync cartridges can be used on Duramax torches, however they are NOT recommended for use on Duramax Retrofit torches.
