The CK Worldwide wedge collet is an exclusive design that gives the collet a lifespan up to ten times longer than standard split collets. The precision angled end-cut gives the collet a wedge action, thus providing a firm grip on the tungsten. This design is superior to slotted collets as slots allow the collet to twist, deform, or jam-up.
Wedge Collet Features
• Improves arc starts and stability
• Requires less pressure from the backcap - improving torch head thread life
• Direct contact with tungsten creating less heat resistance
• Eliminates twisting and deformation of collet
• Fits any standard collet body or gas lens
These wedge collets are designed for 17, 18, AND 26 series TIG torches and are sold as a package of 5. Choose your desired tungsten diameter.
