The ESAB Renegade Volt EMP is a multiprocess battery powered stick and tig welder with MIG capability for using a spoolgun (1027-1494 SG250 sold separately). These machines are designed for mobile welders operating in remote locations without access to a power supply. The Volt can run 6, 9, or 12 Ah DEWALT FLEXVOLT batteries. The standard Volt package includes four 12 Ah batteries, capable of burning up to 33 electrodes (E6013) on a single charge. In AMP+ Hybrid Mode, Renegade Volt supplements AC power with battery power to prevent nuisance trips on smaller breaker sizes or to provide more output when welding on 120V input.
