The XMT multi-process welders offer portability, auto-line technology, and excellent arc performance. The XMT 400 models come equipped with ArcReach technology which eliminates time spent tracing cables back to the power source to make adjustments.  These welders are the most popular due to the flexibility with multiple ArcReach capable accessories.  These units come with Tweco Style connections, but can also be field changed over to dinse connections.

The MIG/Flux-Cored system includes an ArcReach Suitcase 12 Feeder with drive rolls and Bernard BTB 300A MIG gun.  This package offers traditional MIG and flux-cored processes without any control cords necessary.   The XMT automatically changes to CV output when feeder is connected.

XMT Features
• Auto-Line voltage hookup (208-575V)
• 1 or 3-Phase Capable
• Cable Length Compensation (CLC)
• Adaptive Hot Start
• RMD and Pulsed MIG
• Infinite Arc Control
• Lift-Arc
• Fan-on-Demand
• Lightweight, Aerospace-Grade Aluminum Case
• Large, Dual Digital Meters
• Process Selector Switch

Cable Length Compensation automatically adjusts output at the power source to account for voltage drop due to long weld cables.

Regulated Metal Deposition and Pulsed MIG are fully supported, enabling operators to use these advanced processes in the field for faster, more efficient welds.

The Auto Remote Sense enables the unit to automatically use remote control if connected to remote control receptacle.
