The cartridge adapter allows older Duramax HYAMP torches to accept the Smart Sync Cartridges. Cartridges will not transit data back to the power source unless equipped with a Sync power source. This adapter can be used for hand and mechanized cartridges, and adds 33 mm (1.31 inches) to the length of the consumables from the torch head. The lifespan of this adapter is similar to that of a retaining cap. Sold individually.
