If your order arrives damaged, here’s what to do:

• For USPS or UPS Shipments: Damaged items must be reported immediately upon receipt and cannot be accepted if used or reported more than 7 days after delivery.
• For Freight Shipments: Inspect the shipment thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt. Remove the packaging and check the contents for any damage. If damage is found, refuse the shipment at the time of delivery.

Once a delivery is accepted, any claims must be filed with the freight carrier, which can take 2-4 weeks to process. Please note that the outcome depends on the carrier’s settlement decision.

Yes, Welding Supplies from IOC offers free shipping for all orders over $75 within the continental United States. You will receive tracking information as soon as we ship your package. Packages may be shipped via either USPS or UPS.

That depends on what's being returned and the time frame. While we are happy to accept returns of new, unused items within 14 days of delivery for a refund, a 10% restocking fee applies to machines. Returns must include the original packaging for the return to be valid. Returns made after the 14-day return window are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which is in addition to the original shipping and handling costs.

Returned items must be unused, in brand-new condition, and in their original packaging. Items that fall outside of this criteria — i.e., used or returned without their original packaging — will be returned at the expense of the customer. All sales are final after 30 days. Apparel with signs of wear, dirt, and or (pet) hair will be be trashed and no refunds given.

Welding Supplies from IOC has always had sales tax in the following states: Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Kentucky. This is because our parent company, Indiana Oxygen Co., operates trucks that deliver in the previously mentioned states. The revenue services in those states have determined that this activity constitutes a physical presence, requiring us to collect sales tax. 

Even if we lack a physical location in a state, we're now required to collect sales tax in most states due to the SCOTUS ruling in 2018 (South Dakota vs Quill Corp.). The list of states where we are required to collect sales tax continues to grow as states establish what qualifies as an economic nexus in their state. While we don't like it, we follow the rules.
